Götterdämmerung Opera

Listened to the Herbert Von Karajan conducted Götterdämmerung Opera.  Berliner Philharmoniker playing. Earlier today.  Feel blessed to have listened to this lovely opera after a long while.

The audio was routed through a set of speakers and valve amp custom built for me by an audiophile and a genius sound engineer (you can find him at http://www.starcaudio.com). 

Phenomenal experience. To quote Frank Zappa (and the moments I feel quite acutely for what he said are frequent more these days):

“Information is not knowledge – Knowledge is not wisdom – Wisdom is not truth – Truth is not beauty – Beauty is not love – Love is not music – Music is the BEST.”
